Student Ministry

6-12 Grade

As a Youth Group, we're devoted to raising up students who love Jesus Christ, study the scriptures, value community, serve those in need, share the gospel, and continue to stand firm in their faith after high school. The teenagers in our midst are spiritually thriving and unashamedly inviting their friends to participate in the fellowship of our Youth Group.

Other Programs

Service Projects & Mission Trips
Summer

Our students seek to serve the Pittsburgh area throughout the year by partnering with local organizations such as World Vision and Living Ministry.

Every July, a group of students and adult leaders embarks on a week-long mission trip that focuses on serving the needy and spreading the good news of Jesus. We’ve previously traveled to Providence, RI and Chicago. In addition, we’re partnered with the River of Life Church of God in Alderson, WV.

Retreats

Weekend retreats are a vitally important component of our ministry calendar.

In the FALL we spend a weekend at Ligonier Camp and Conference Center.

In WINTER we join other EPC Youth Groups for the EPIC Retreat.

Membership

We encourage our students to learn more about membership at NPC and prayerfully consider becoming confirmed or adult members (depending upon age). Check out our Membership page.

Parents

We believe that the parents are the primary spiritual nurturers of their children. Therefore, we want to help & assist them in their role. We seek to give regular updates to parents, including:

  • Ministry Opportunities
  • Resources
  • Classes
  • Encouragement
