My life changed when I met two people in my freshman year of high school. Before this time, I was a troubled child. My parent’s marriage was a mess because of my father, and I grew up without a lot of loving affirmation from my parents. This caused me to seek attention from others through loud and sometimes angry behavior. But in my freshman year, my older brother and his friends invited me to a youth group. There, I met Nat LeTowt, the youth leader. How he lived his faith and treated me, and the rest of the youth with love touched my heart. I began to pay attention during his lessons and in my church’s sermons as well, taking notes and beginning to study the Bible on my own. And on one of the retreats, God touched my heart and began to grow the seed of faith that Nat had planted. Through this, I met Jesus, and he changed my life.
