Dan Dupee

I grew up going to my neighborhood church in Cincinnati, figuring that it was my job to do what God wanted and avoid what he didn’t like. It was a long self-improvement process, and no matter how hard I worked, it wasn’t going well. My self-discipline made me more judgemental, impatient, and intolerant of others. I met Jesus at a college student conference in Pittsburgh during my freshman year when a speaker named Tom Skinner redefined the faith for me: total forgiveness, total surrender, endless love, and meaningful purpose.
