Summer Outreach

Join us in meeting and inviting our neighbors to church for worship services and movie nights. Whether you pray or knock on doors, every gift has a place this summer.

Door-To-Door Canvassing

When: Saturdays throughout the summer

We need help with participation in door-to-door or prayer.

Movie Nights

When: July 9 & August 13
Where: Blue Room

We need help with serving snacks, greeters, and set up and clean up.

Door-To-Door Canvassing Information

Our canvassing outreach activities are starting on May 30 and will continue through the summer and into the fall. Joe Daly, Dan Sherwin, the Wiggins, and the Beidemans are joining Phill Van Sickel to lead these walks. We invite you to join us as we trust God to open doors and give us favor with our neighbors.

We have selected the Ingomar North and Indian Village neighborhoods - both very close to the church, with a good variety of homes and age groups. During our prayer walk on May 9, the Spirit encouraged us as we lifted up our petitions to God.

1. Meet at the church at 9:30 am. You'll be instructed on how to participate and teamed up in groups of two or three.
2. Together, your group will walk a particular street or streets: knocking on doors, introducing yourselves, and inviting neighbors to "Movie Nights" or another activity.
3. If the opportunity presents itself, you'll also pray for your neighbors.
4. After one hour, return to the church to share your experiences with the group.

We are designing this so everyone can feel comfortable going.
  • You won't be alone - always in a group of 2-3
  • You don't need to be the one speaking
  • A leader will always be within sight
  • Guidance provided for various situations

    • Everything will be covered in prayer. Our hope is that each of you can sign up for one Saturday this summer. If you can do more, that would be great!

    If you're physically unable to walk a neighborhood, we invite you to sign up to be a prayer warrior. In this role, we would ask you to pray for the teams on Saturday mornings.
