Called to the Feast // Matthew 22:1-14

Jesus describes the kingdom of heaven in a parable about a wedding feast. Though the guests refuse to come, the king insists upon filling the wedding hall with all sorts of people. Once it's full, the king notices that someone isn't dressed for the occasion, and he's thrown out. These passages hold out two important truths for us. First, the call to the kingdom of God is broad. All people are called to be gathered together to the "feast." But second, those who gather must still be made ready for the feast. God is calling you to this feast. How can we be made ready for it?
