Main Idea: Jesus’ ministry begins to be questioned because it doesn’t fit the expectations of what is considered religiously appropriate. Declaring forgiveness seems presumptuous; socializing with sinners is getting in with the wrong crowd; and a jovial mood isn’t sufficiently religious.
