For Three Transgressions and for Four // Amos 1:2-2:3

Amos opens with a survey of people groups whose sin the Lord sees and will punish. The main point will be for us to appreciate that sin deserves punishment from the Lord. We will then apply this to ourselves in two ways: (1.) we are guilty of the same kind of sin of the world (2.) our forgiveness depends on Jesus suffering the punishment that this kind of sin deserves.
