Jesus shows his compassionate power to provide for the needs of his people. Jesus warns the disciples against an infectious spirit of satisfaction apart from Christ's own provision and teaching. Such a spirit will only breed skepticism in the face of Christ's teaching, rather than gratitude at the life that it gives.
