Summary
Our Student Ministry at North Park Church is counter-cultural. The trend is to view students as a sub-section or a separate group from the Church. Students at NPC
are an active part of the community. Their gifts, talents, spirituality, and passion feed into the overall direction and success of the Church at large. Students are valued as
an extremely important part of the vibrancy and effectiveness of NPC.
Our Vision
“Assisting parents in passionately leading youth to savor and treasure Christ above all things, pursuing and reflecting together the heart, mind, message, and actions of Jesus for the glory of God.”
Our Mission
WORSHIP We seek to lead students to worship Jesus Christ out of a passionate heart, soul, mind, and deep faith. We teach, we praise, we together savor and treasure Christ above all things.
INSTRUCTION We seek to train students in godliness through instruction from the authoritative, inerrant, infallible, and perspicuous Word of God, the sixty-six books of the Bible.
COMMUNITY We seek to bring students into a loving, accepting, and fun community of people that gives them a safe place to grow spiritually and explore the person and work of Jesus Christ.
SERVICE We seek to challenge students to manifest their passion for and devotion to Jesus Christ through serving other people. We serve other people in love because of the love God poured into our hearts through Jesus Christ.
OUTREACH We seek to equip and encourage students to introduce their friends to the person and work of Jesus Christ. We also offer a safe place for our students who follow Jesus to invite and engage their friends in Student Ministry activities.

Strategy for accomplishing our vision…
LORD’S DAY WORSHIP The most important aspect of ministry to students is that they passionately, and actively worship with the covenant community of believers on Sunday morning as an integral part of the Church.
24SEVEN & TARGET These two ministries are vital to the spiritual progression of students as it gives them an opportunity to invite and connect their friends. These ministries are opportunities for students to worship God and connect with other students as well as to significant adults. See the “24Seven” and “Target” pages.
COMMUNITY GROUPS. These groups are essential to the ministry that North Park Church has to students. Students do not grow spiritually outside of the context of significant, godly relationships. Community Groups offer students the opportunity to connect with other students and godly leaders, as well as the opportunity to dig, mine, and wrestle with the truths of God’s Word in a safe, intimate environment.
SUNDAY SCHOOL. This ministry to students is intentionally deep and challenging theologically and Biblically. Sunday School, though not usually the most popular aspect of Student Ministry, is a promise of spiritual integrity, Biblical accuracy, and theological purity. Sunday School exists to equip and train students to know in more intimate detail the depths of God.
ACTIVITIES. Student Ministry offers many fun and engaging activities to connect students and lead them to Jesus. See the “Events” page.
