Study of God’s Word is essential to spiritual growth. This is part of our “life blood” at NPC. Whether it is personal or group study, we want to be interacting with Scripture so that we see that it is “living and active” today. Though there are different approaches to Bible study, we emphasize the inductive study approach – discovering for ourselves (guided by a teacher/facilitator through the skills of observation, interpretation, and application) the meaning and personal application of the text.

condition of your
body and soul is, or how long you have or have not been a believer
- if you are a woman,
this book is for you"
With discussion topics such as "Lord,
Guide Me in All My Relationships" "Lord, Keep Me in the

Life in Right Order" just to name a few there is bound

GO DEEP...with
Precept Upon Precept Bible Study
for Women
Inductive
Bible Study shows you how to discover God's Truth for
yourself. Precept Upon Precept Studies uses a
straightforward investigative approach to open the Bible
and build the context for each statement it contains.
That's where we find God's precepts—or principles—for
life. Inductive study is the tool our students use to
collect those precepts to build a God-glorifying,
Bible-centered worldview with clear applications to live
the abundant, victorious life in Christ. This class
will meet on Monday mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
beginning September 20, 2010 join us as we
study the Book of Genesis
1.
Monday
Evening
Bible Study:
The Monday Night Bible Study will be
starting up again on September 13, 2010. We will continue to
use “The Amazing Collection” curriculum. This series
covers all 66 books of the Bible, one book per week.
Our first session will cover 1 Chronicles through Esther
and will run for 5 weeks. Additional 5 or 6 week
sessions will follow.
Class will meet at the church on Monday
nights from 7:00-8:30. Each week there will be a
teaching video and time for prayer and discussion of the
previous week’s homework. Workbooks cost $10 and will
be required for each session. Because each week covers
a different book of the Bible, you can join us at any
time during the year without having to “catch up”.
If you are
interested in joining us, please sign up at the
information counter. Contact Leslie Van Newkirk
for more information.
